Optimization of Drought Limited Water Level and Operation Benefit Analysis of Large Reservoir

As an important water conservancy engineering project, reservoir regulation plays a crucial role in the insurance of resources supply and demand balance sustainable development utilization, especially during drought seasons. The limited level (DLWL) is characteristic controlling operation dry seasons, construction reliable schemes DLWL great significance for improvement regional utilization efficiency. Therefore, basing on variation analysis inflowing series characteristics among different sectors Meishan Reservoir Shihe Irrigation Area China, firstly, Hausdorff Dimensional Fractal (HDF) method was applied to divide early-warning periods reservoir. Then, initial scheme determined through inflow processes each warning typical hydrological years. And finally, optimal dynamic DLWL, described by (DWWL) depleted (DDWL) respectively, eventually proposed this study based establishment simulation model irrigation areas system. Moreover, reliability effectiveness further testified terms risk area system under consecutive annual scenarios, meanwhile, agricultural crop yield loss due events corresponding also determined. related research findings could be favorable beneficial guiding drought-resistance seasons providing reasonable decision-making basis as well.
